As you paddle, your guide brings the lagoon to life with fun facts about the ecosystem, local marine life, and the rich history of Puerto Rico (plus a few must-try restaurant tips!). - Kayaks are two-seaters. Maximum combined weight is 400 lbs.
- Maximum weight limit per person is 275 lbs. You will be climbing in and out of knee-deep water to get into your kayak. We suggest water shoes or aqua socks if you have them. Barefoot is fine and we can store your shoes in a bin.
- Parking fees are not included.
- Orientation Prior to Tour: Please listen closely to the guides during the Kayak 101 orientation. This is not a time for selfies — it is your safety briefing. The tour is designed so beginners can comfortably complete the entire excursion. If you have difficulty paddling, a guide will coach you. Leaving the tour early or being towed back to the dock does not qualify for a refund.
- Complimentary storage for personal belongings is available, at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
- Bringing personal belongings on the water is at your own risk. We are not responsible for anything dropped into the ocean.
- You will get wet. Casual attire like shorts and t-shirts is best. You will be in knee-deep water during launch, and water naturally drips into the kayak while paddling.
- Waterproof cameras, GoPros, or phones are recommended (at your own risk). Guides will offer to take a couple of photos with the company iPhone and share them for free at the end.
- Please do not wear bug spray. It damages the clear bottoms of the kayaks. Bugs are minimal on the water so spray is not needed.
- Tips are graciously accepted by your tour guides, so please pack a few extra dollars for them.
- Groups must have at least one 18-year-old to attend and sign waivers. Young kids must have at least a 16-year-old in each kayak. Young children cannot be in a kayak alone.
